Just can't believe it!

I didn't blog yesterday!
Sunday evening Harper, Daddy and me were laying on the floor and talking. Harper said I love you! I mean in her little baby language of course, but it was such a sweet moment for the Gman and me!
Yesterday I borrowed by mom's cricut machine. I can't wait to experiment. I have plans to buy another cartridge for it, but for cheap on ebay, etc. Right now I'm looking at a lot of Thickers from the pea. I think the lot consists of 20 thickers for $45. I'm pretty sure that's a good deal, and they are all different fonts and colors, etc. That's perfect for me. I love Thickers!
I'm also checking out a lot of American Crafts and Making Memories pages. 100 sheets for $25. I think I'm going to ask for the Mystery lot and get some from all companies. That's a pretty awesome deal. I don't know though. We'll see I don't want to spend too much money. I may just stick with the thickers for now.
Tonight my madre and I are meeting at Michael's and I'm going to spend my 50% off coupon. I have a 40% ff coupon too that I may use later.
I'm thinking about putting the Ikea workstation that I want for my scrappin' space on a 0% financed card. Then I can give myself 3 months to pay it off you know.
Just thinking about it. I really need a workspace to do my scrapping. I could just buy a cheaper table there too though. I'll check things out! I do have my heart set on this one table that's awesome but for the price of that I could get a couple of chairs and tables from their other lines; we'll see!
Harper will start daycare on Monday July 13th. Scary. She'll be going to school now; what a big girl! She is two months old as of yesterday. My how she has grown. I have some cute pics that I want to edit with picasa. When I find time I will do that. I also need to upload my layouts that I've worked on. I put out 2 layouts this weekend. That's great for me! I never have time to scrap. I'm exhausted for some reason. I got a nice plan yesterday from my boss. It's a cute little English Ivy in a yellow pot. Yellow is such a beautiful color. I love primary colors.
Oh I love vintage and kitsch too.
Well that's all for now. I need to pump! Geez!

I am looking into starting a small business... Just trying to figure out what business name I would like before I fill out an application for my Tax ID.

Luckily I have family who has experience with all this stuff. Yay!

I will update more tonight or tomorrow morning.

Sleep deprivation...

Ugh. I'm tired. Harper was restless all night until 2 this morning, so I didn't go to sleep until then. I may as well have stayed up and scrapped or something.

I'm at work, as usual. Just checking my sites. Talking with G over email. We had a fight last night, but we've made up now.

This weekend I plan to scrapbook and run at least once. I want to see Transformers. Tonight I need to buy a gift for Missy and Andrew. I'm planning on buying them an iron and ironing board because they have duplicates of EVERYTHING on all 4 of their registries, ha! That's nuts. They'll end up with 4 toasters, 2 vacuums, 3 handmixers, 2 irons, etc. I'll be giving a gift receipt. Their get together is tomorrow evening, and I'm excited to hang out with some adults.

I want to share my favorite scrappin' brands....
Making Memories, Sassafrass Lass, Basic Grey, Inkadinkado, Little Yellow Bycicle, Cosmo Cricket, Jenni Bowlin and Bo Bunny. These are my current faves. We'll see if things change though.

I'm going to borrow my mom's Cricut Personal; I can't wait. I'm going to just cut out a ton of stuff, so that I can have some leftovers when she wants her cutter back. I'm trying to buy a cartridge for it too on ebay. Right now I'm a little addicted to ebay. Thanks goodness for a Paypal card with a low limt, so I can't overdo it. Right now I'm waiting for some buttons, brads and books to come in. Whoohoo!

Last night we ate dinner with my in laws. It was delicious! I love Pam's cooking; she and my mom are great cooks if I could only be so blessed with good cooking skils. I can manage excellent spaghetti and mexican dinner though. We came home shortly thereafter and lounged in our bedroom with Harper. My parents stopped by unannouced; we all chatted for about an hour. It was nice having some adult time. Then Gavin and I headed for bed, but then Harper woke up .... and the story goes on from there.

Tonight I plan to either run or scrap, whatever will make me feel better after last night. I don't know what I want to make for dinner tonight. We'll see.

I'll leave you with a pic of my sweet Harper on her first ride in the car!

Wishlist...

I'm at work currently, catching up on facebook, myspace, blogspot, email, ebay and scrap freak. It's summer 1 here at UNT, and it's pretty slow around these parts, at least right now. Most students are still sleeping at this time of day.
Wish I were.
Harper had a good night last night, not like the night before. She woke up around 2 and again around 4 to eat, that's not so bad considering she is still under 2 months. I'm still breastfeeding. I enjoy it, and I don't intend to give up on it until she's at least 3 months. I'll go as long as my body functions.
I am at my prepregnancy weight, and I fit into my jeans, but my boobs are too big for my shirts. My tummy is still loosey, goosey, and I don't really like that. I talked it over with the G man, and I am going running after I feed Harper this evening. I have to lose at least 15 pounds, but my goal is 20. I would like to fit into a size 4, but I'll be happy as a 6. Right now my legs and butt are an 8, and my tummy and hips are a 10; clothes kind of suck for me right now. I feel like I'm pregnant again and limited in what I can wear. I absolutely refuse to wear maternity garb since I'm at my prepregnancy weight.
I have a wishlist right now of things I want for my little hobby and for myself:
-New shirts for work
-Shorts
-Asset by Spanx tank with tummy control (thanks Stacy)
-Clinique face wash for acne
-Clear round stamps
-White opaque pen
-Ikea kitchen island with butcher block and stainless shelves (here's a pick courtesy of the Goodie Box)
-Shelving units for scrapbook stuff
-Clear magazine holders
-Slice machine and cartridges
-Ink for stamps
-Eyelet thingy majigger
-Binder for clear stamps
-Making memories tool carousel
-Size 6 body frame and new wardrobe
-To be a SHAM

Teehee. That's alot I know. I want a lot of things, but I don't need any of it really I suppose. So I can dream can't I?

Going to pump will update again later.

Working mother

I'm a working mother. I work at UNT as an Administrative Specialist II for the College of Arts and Sciences. I am currently working on my BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. After I receive my degree I would like to get my post baccalaureate from TWU's school of nursing. I would love to work in the medical field. Medicine, health, anatomy and physiology really interest me, and too bad for my grades or I would have been a doctor, teehee. Life's like that though.

Before my time at UNT, I worked as a recruiter for a family owned business who aids in human resources for large companies like Brinker International and many other restaurant chains. I worked at Self Opportunity for 3 years, and I really enjoyed the challenge that my job provided me. The only reason I moved on was because my husband and I desperately needed more income and insurance.

And before that I worked at my first job for 2 years making smoothies and chillers for Frullati Cafe. I loved working at this place because the owners were like family to me and it was super fun.

Eventually I would love to be a SAHM or own a family business whether it be refinishing furniture and selling the remade pieces, opening up a tavern/pub, or having a scrap and crop shop with my mom!

First Blog

Booyah! Haha, I'm Gabrielle Watson. I have a wonderful little family. My husband Gavin is unusually sweet! I am a new mother to a little girl named Harper. She's my angel, and her big sister is a dog named Josie!

I work full time, and I scrap when my girl is asleep. This will be a place where I post my scrap pages and pictures of my little family.

I would love to open up my own business! Either refinishing furniture making it funky and fresh or scrapbooking with lots of papers and a crop shop! These are my dreams, and this is my place to constantly show off my inspirations, scrappin' pages, and family photos!

I hope that everyone feels welcomed and inspired by this spot.
