"On the First day of Christmas my true love gave to me... a partridge in a pear tree"
I know that all of you are familiar with this song, but have you ever tried this? Giving your spouse, boyfriend, fiancee, partner, soulmate or maybe even roomie gifts over the 12 days leading up to Christmas. Probably not right? Well I lifted this idea from November 2009 - Project Freak - 12 Days of Christmas and none other than Shannon Bogan (she may not know about my blog, but I religiously follow hers).
Well last year I was still a pretty new scrapper, and I did this project. The envelopes I made last year turned out lovely, but they just aren't my cup of tea anymore, so I decided to scrap up some more using the Festive kit that I got from Catch the Moment Kits plus some extra BG papers and the Jovial chipboard purchased from PaperAddict. And well I am so very pleased. I think they turned out stunning, and I am very happy that I went with the 5.5x7.5 envelopes this year. More room to fit those goodies in :)
Basically if you are familiar with the song, then you know how it goes. You set the envelopes out and you or your lover/friend open the gifts starting on December 13th. Last year I did it for my hubby, so this year he is going to fill these envelopes for me. Whee I can't wait to see what little surprises he gives to me :)
Well let's see how it looks this year shall we? Ugh, sorry for the random order, I'm still figuring out how to attach darn pictures!
Used: BG Jovial PP, BG Jovial Die Cuts, BG Jovial Chipboard, BG button, AC Thickers, Core'dinations cardstock, and MS Baker's Twine (gotta love that stuff) and on the card all of the above plus Jenni Bowlin button -- you can get the JB buttons, AC Thickers and Jovial Kit from Catch the Moments Kits
And for my very first giveaway I am going to regift my first set of 12 Days of Christmas envelopes and a handmade card (made with scraps from my new Jovial kit) to a blog follower that leaves a comment on this post. Because I don't have a ton of blog followers right now I will wait a few days before selecting a winner at random. I will also throw in little something scrappy that you can use on your LO and/or cards :) - so become a blog follower and post a comment by Wednesday, and I will post the winner on Thursday; now how does that sound?
Alright, I'm out for the evening blog followers!! I will be back later this week to post a winner and present a double LO made with Echo Park from Catch the Moments Kits.
With Love,
Gabi Watson

That is soooo cute!!! I love how that turned out!!! I'm a follower now!!
Now how cute is this? Great idea and I love the look of all your cards.
p.s. the only way I can post photos in the right order is to organize them in iPhoto before exporting. Don't know if this will help you, just my 2 cents. :)
love it! and love what you did with the kit!
That is a great project! Each one is so cute!
How I do mine in order. Is I have to post mine backwards, so the first picture I want up goes last.
Love this idea, your project is so pretty.
I see that you won blog candy, or I tried to find your blog to tell you and couldn't find it. If I come across the blog or was YouTube? I will let you know.
Hey Tracy, thanks for the heads up. I believe that I won Blog Candy from the Profound Brunette Blog. It was a lovely E-book. She contacted me via my blog, so I was able to receive my winnings. Thanks though :) appreciate the help!
Love this project! What a fun take on the kit :)
to my beautiful creative daughter, I just love all your work. Actually jealous that you are more creative than me, and I have been scrappin for over 10 years. I am so glad i could finaly convince you to start scrappin, I knew you would be hooked the minute you started.
Love mommy
Aw thanks Mama :) -- I get my creativity from you, so that should make you feel pretty good and less jealous :) Love you too!
I love this idea! I am going to consider doing this with my loved ones as well. :) Thanks for the fun idea!
